WELCOME TO THE GARDEN STATION
A restored Victorian railway station in a woodland garden in Hexham in beautiful Northumberland
Courses in Gardening – Environment – Art – Botanical Art – Willow Weaving – Food
A Visitor Attraction – Garden, Woodland Walk and Art Exhibitions
We are open from March to December, 10a.m. – 5p.m.
The Leaning Shed café and the Woodland Garden are open to visitors 7 days a week.
The main café is open from Thursdays-Mondays (Fridays-Mondays from September to New Year)

THE STATION BUILDING – more delicious food at summer weekends
This very pretty restored Victorian building is Open to visitors at weekends from May to August for china service of more coffee, tea and home-made cake and light lunches focusing on local and seasonal food. The interior of the station is an atmospheric and sunlit space where paintings – as well as refreshments – can be appreciated.
INTERESTING PERENNIAL PLANTS AVAILABLE ALL SUMMER
Our plants are northern grown at good nurseries as well as the selection of woodland plants grown at The Garden Station.
