East Lambrook Manor Gardens

Margery Fish was the undisputed ‘Leading Lady of Gardening’ from the 1950’s and the gardens she created here at East Lambrook Manor in Somerset have become internationally famous as the premier example of English Cottage Gardening. Indeed, it was Mrs Fish’s natural gift in bringing old-fashioned and contemporary plants together that has so dramatically influenced the way we garden today and the mixed borders of the 21st century are a direct descendant of the style she created at East Lambrook. Within the grounds, Margery Fish’s gardens are also home to an award winning teashop, art gallery, Margery Fish Plant Nursery and RHS horticultural courses.
