“Mythago Wood Garden” “Mythago Wood Garden”

This is a practical design inspired by the ‘mythago’ novels of the author Robert Holdstock. The habitat is the English woodland edge, and promotes native planting and the creation of a wildlife-supporting environment.

Through its myth-based premise, the garden can educate children and adults about literature (history and legend), native plants/wildlife and their requirements. There is a crumbling façade of a folly within a ‘wood’ to add a sense of intrigue and mystery to the wooded area and to encourage nesting birds and insects to take up residence in the stonework
