2008 has been a busy year for us, creating many new gardens for
visitors to see and creating space for the new vegetable patch. As
you are aware this is the way to go and all of us can make space for
some type of vegetables and salads. Even the kitchen windowsill is
a good place to grow plants. We have two RHS events this year on
growing vegetables in containers.

The nursery has always operated on the organic principle to
encourage as much wildlife as possible and this has been very
successful.

The 2 xeric gardens are doing well. We have had some failures due to
the wet summer and some down to mice that like to use the sanbeds
stores for their winter food and consequently dig up the odd plant.

The RHS events were once again a great success last year and we
have more planned for this year. (See RHS events) As these get
booked up quickly it is a good idea to book early.

We would like to thank all of those who voted for us at the March
show at RHS Westminster. I thoroughly enjpoy making up these
displays and so it is really gratifying when the public enjoy the results.
