4HEAD GARDEN OF DREAMS SET TO FEATURE RARE ORCHID AT CHELSEA

The 4head Garden Of Dreams will be featuring a rare orchid – Cypripedium parviflorum pubescens, otherwise known as ladyslipper orchid and nerve root.

The Cypripedium parviflorum pubescens orchid, like the many other herbs and wild flowers within the 4head Garden of dreams, has a host of medicinal properties. The orchid was used by Native American Indians as a sedative and antispasmodic to ease menstrual and labour pains. It can also help counter insomnia and nervous tension.

Jacques Amand, who runs a specialist bulb nursery in Middlesex, is supplying the Cypripedium parviflorum pubescens to the 4head Garden.
