Description

Brantwood was the home of eminent Victorian, John Ruskin, from 1872 until 1900. The gardens and estate are like no other, reflecting Ruskin’s many and varied interests. Mature Victorian landscape gardens lead to John Ruskin’s own experimental landscapes, to ancient woodlands, high moorland and spectacular views. In recent years 8 gardens have been restored at Brantwood creating a fascinating landscape.
