Kate Poore Garden Design Family Garden in Bournemouth

The client required two seating areas in the main garden, one for 6-8 people to dine close to the house and a second seating area in the sun to include a summerhouse. A water feature was required which would be safe for children, and a level area for a trampoline which should not be visible from the house.

The original garden was sloping, therefore retaining walls and steps were needed to create two new level areas. The garage building had been converted to a small gym and the adjacent area was to be developed as a courtyard. The client did not want symmetrical formality.
