Myddelton House Gardens
Description
From the River Thames to Ware in Hertfordshire, the Lee Valley Regional Park has a range of leisure facilities to suit all ages, tastes and abilities.
Lee Valley in Autumn
And in Winter
Stretching 26 miles on both sides of the River Lee, the unique natural features of this 10,000 acre Regional Park have been shaped to provide a mosaic of countryside and recreational areas, heritage sites, nature reserves and lake and riverside trails, plus sports centres too.
Myddelton House Gardens is just one of the many fantastic places to visit created by E.A. Bowles an expert botantist. It has a collection of award winning Bearded Iris, plus a Wisteria tree which is over 100 years old along with a 400 year old Yew tree.
So whatever you do in your leisure time, whether it’s golf or ice skating, fishing or birdwatching or perhaps exploring countryside or historic sites, you’ll find it in Lee Valley Regional Park.
