Rhododendron Park – Castle Dennenlohe

It is the biggest rhododendron park in Southern Germany. The park comprises an area of 85,000 square metres. The leading actors of that beautiful place are rhododendrons and azaleas. Thousands of plants are wide spread in the park area and enchant visitors annual from April to June. The park opens its gates from 01 April to 31 October to the public. If you would like to visit the Castle Garden that comprises a Persian Garden, an English Garden and a rosary you should not miss the Dennloher Castle and Garden Days which take place from 26 to 29 May 2005. Normally this part of the terrain is closed to the public.
