| The ever-popular Specialist Plant Fairs will be back at Borde Hill Garden near Haywards Heath in West Sussex this year, starting with the Spring Fair on May 8th – a wonderful time to visit Borde Hill, either individually or as part of a group, as all areas of the garden will be looking fabulous with spring and early summer displays.
As ever, there will be a fantastic line-up of independent specialist nurseries from across the South East of England (including several RHS exhibitors). The Plant Fairs Roadshow’s very own Plant Doctor will be on hand to answer questions and help visitors find exactly the right plant for the right place too. Visitors can even pre-book a free appointment for a personal shopper service – the perfect opportunity to get planting suggestions for that difficult area of your garden! (Email [email protected], stating which plant fair you plan to attend). And of course Borde Hill’s own gardening team will also be available during the events to answer questions too. Among the exciting list of specialist exhibitors at the Fair will be Chailey Iris Garden, Clare’s Chillies, Mrs Mitchell’s Kitchen Garden, and Riverside Bulbs, along with other well-known names such as Plantbase, Hardy Cottage Garden Plants and Phoenix Plants, to name just a few. The Sussex branches of Plant Heritage and the Hardy Plant Society will be there too. And while you’re at Borde Hill, don’t miss two beautiful new designs by multiple RHS gold medal winner Chris Beardshaw for the Italian Garden and Paradise Walk. The Azalea Ring will be a kaleidoscope of colour with the deciduous Kurume azaleas, flowering rhododendrons are dotted around the garden and the woodland will be carpeted with bluebells and anemones.
The Garden opens to the public 19th February – 13th November 2022, 10am-5pm. Admission to the Garden includes entry to the Fair: Adults – £10.50, Concession – £10, Child (aged 3-16) – £7, Group – £7.95 pre-paid (for groups of 10+ people), Family Day Ticket – £34.
